About Product

This machine is designed for slitting thin films/paper, such as Insulating Kraft paper, Nomex®, BOPP, Polyester,Kapton®, Mica, CeQUIN®, Non Woven electrical insulation etc. The machine consists of a VFD driven main motor, a magnetic powder brake on pay-off, Web Aligner, 2 magnetic powder clutches on rewinding shaft.

SALIENT FEATURES

  • Electronic rewind tension control incorporating a magnetic powder clutch. Transmission of drive to the rewinding shaft is through timing belts for noiseless and vibration free operation.
  • Unwind tension control system incorporating a magnetic brake to maintain constant tension in the pay-off
  • The rewinding shaft rolls lifting and lowering is using Pneumatic Cylinder for constant tension/ tight winding of pads
  • 2 magnetic powder clutch are fixed on rewinding shaft to maintain constant tension winding
  • Pneumatic pressure control of rewind shaft against surface roller
  • Pneumatic side pressure control on top cutter shaft for burr free slitting.
  • Pneumatic locking of pay-off shafts (Air expansion shaft)
  • Pneumatically operated NIP Roller
  • Unwinder roll lifting/lowering using hydraulic cylinder thus eliminating use of overhead crane
  • Web aligner with photoelectric edge correction for perfect flat pad.
