The design of HV motor and Generator is based on the principle of higher output-rating at constant or even smaller frame sizes. One of the main parameter to reduce the frame size is by reducing iron/magnetic losses. When magnetic lamination is punched to form stamping, fi ne burr is created on opposite face of magnetic lamination. When this lamination is stacked to build core, magnetic short circuits takes place leading to eddy current/hot spot. To reduce magnetic loss, stamping burr height has to be minimized by suitable grinding process.Years of practical experience combined with latest technology has resulted in the development of the magnetic lamination de-burring Machine.
